Outpatient Substance Use Treatment in Vancouver, WA

Start Recovery Today

If you are committed to addiction recovery and do not require round-the-clock medical care or crisis stabilization, outpatient substance abuse treatment, also known as outpatient rehab, may be an option. Outpatient treatment at our facilities provides the care, education, and support needed for addiction recovery while offering more flexibility than inpatient care.

Outpatient Rehab at Our Facility

We offer on-site outpatient services for addiction with various program options for optimal healing and recovery support. Sessions take place during the day, allowing you to live and sleep at home during treatment. Programs typically last between one to three months, depending on several factors, including the severity of the addiction.

You are most likely to find success with outpatient programs when:

●  You have not experienced relapse

●  You have a healthy, supportive home environment that supports your sobriety

●  You are physically healthy

●  You have already completed detox or do not require detox

We consider therapist, provider, or hospital referrals when accepting patients, or you can contact us directly to schedule an initial assessment. Assessments may include an evaluation of your current home life or a health examination to ensure our program is the best treatment option for you.

Our Outpatient Programs

Outpatient programs at our facilities are therapeutic and recovery-focused and can support adults who must maintain work, school, or family schedules. Outpatient programs that treat addiction include both Partial Hospitalization Programs (PHPs) and Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOPs) and treat drug addiction and alcohol addiction.

Partial Hospitalization Programs (PHPs)

A PHP is often a “step-down” option after inpatient treatment. It can also be an alternative to inpatient care if started before symptoms or behavior become unmanageable. PHPs generally last up to six hours a day, five days a week, but allow you to stay at home. Patients who enter PHP will usually see a medication provider within the first one to two days, with a nurse always available on-site.

PHPs involve working with a full care team of clinicians and counselors. Your treatment may include behavioral and holistic therapies, wellness education, recreational activities, family meetings, group meetings, and medication.

Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOPs)

IOPs are designed for individuals who have mental health or substance abuse needs, but do not require 24-hour medical care or the intensity of a partial hospitalization program. Our IOP programs typically take place three to five days a week with an approximate three hour treatment schedule. Depending on your program, day or evening IOP programs are available.

These programs offer group therapy and some combination of education, training, skill building and support meetings.

Outpatient Drug Addiction Treatment

Outpatient programs that treat drug addiction can teach you skills to build a new, healthier life. Because different drugs can affect individuals in different ways, PHP and IOP programs are customized to your specific needs. As part of treatment, you may receive:

●  Medication assistance

●  Individual therapy

●  Group support sessions

●  Family meetings

●  Education and skill building

These resources help you overcome harmful drug use, better understand what contributes to drug use and addiction, and how to avoid future temptation and triggers.

Outpatient Alcohol Addiction Treatment

Alcohol can be one of the most difficult addictions to overcome. Programs that treat alcohol addiction are designed to help end dangerous drinking behaviors and learn to recognize and avoid triggers. PHP and IOP outpatient treatment for alcohol addiction is most suitable if you have a stable home environment and can avoid alcohol in your day-to-day life.

Your program may include:

●  Medication assistance

●  Individual therapy

●  Group support sessions

●  Family meetings

●  Education and skill building

Our substance abuse treatment programs allow you to meet with treatment specialists, learn about preventing relapse, and apply what you’ve learned to your daily life.

Ongoing care resources and support groups are integral to long-term recovery. Our team aims to provide support and encouragement to everyone who has completed our treatment programs. That’s why we offer Alumni Support Groups to patients who complete a treatment program and want to continue their recovery momentum.

Alumni Support Groups help you maintain sobriety and provide a nonjudgmental place to talk about your goals, accomplishments, and the challenges of recovery.
