Rainier Springs Now In Network with Majority of Washington and Oregon Health Insurance Payers

If you have a commercial insurance plan covering your health care in Washington or Oregon, a new option for innovative behavioral health care is now available to you on an in-network status. Rainier Springs, a leading provider of behavioral health services in the Vancouver/ Portland area, has recently become an in-network provider for the second largest insurer in the market.

Rainier Springs is pleased to announce it is now in network for members with Optum, UBH and Providence Health Plan insurance. Optum, also known as a United Behavioral Health (UBH), has 301,651 members that account for approximately 20 percent of the area’s covered lives in health care.  In addition, Providence Health Plan uses the Optum network of providers.

“Rainier Springs is now listed as an in-network provider with the vast majority of health insurance payers in our market, which means our patients can directly access care at Rainier Springs with your in-network benefits,” said CEO Jeff Serrano.  “This is part of our goal to make needed behavioral healthcare more accessible for our communities.”

Serrano referenced a new wave of commercial insurance panels Rainier Springs is now serving that include, Regence BCBS of Oregon, who covers 193,471 or 13 percent of Oregonians and Washingtonians. The facility is also working with large employer health plans such as Premera Blue Cross, PacificSource Health Plans, First Choice Health Network and Cigna Behavioral Health.
